Kung Fu Panda 3 is a 2016 action comedy film produced under the banner of 20th Century Fox. It is the third instalment in the Kung Fu Panda Franchise and the sequel of Kung Fu panda 2.the film was directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Carloni. Jonathan Aibel and Glen Bereger are the screenwriter of Kung Fu Panda 3. The film was dedicated to Nancy Bernstein, who died from colorectal cancer at the age of 55. Nancy was the Head of Production at Dream Works Animation.
After the events of the second film, Shifu relinquishes from his duties at Jade Palace. Po has more responsibilities than before and he reunites with his biological father. The news arrived that General Kaii has returned from the realm and making an army against Po. Po found out about the secret village of Pandas and learns the technique of Chi, which can defeat Kai. Po re-joins his forces with Tigress, Ping and all Pandas to make a stand against Kai and ending him for good.
The film got positive reviews from the critics. Kung Fu Panda 3 grossed about $521 million worldwide while the budget of the film was $145 million. It was the second highest grossing movie in the month of January behind American Sniper. The approval rating on IMDB is 7.1/10 and on Rotten Tomatoes is 87%. The film got many nominations in award function and won the award of Top Box Office Films on May 14, 2017 by ASCAP Award.
